Overview
Our Academic Reading and Writing courses are a course that foreign students and international school students must attend every vacation. It is an essential course for international students as well as domestic students, and it is a program conducted by SSLI’s very best instructors.
- It is a program that allows students to maximize their analytical skills in reading, analyzing and writing essay skills.
- Short Story Reading and Article Reading, along with Critical Writing and Persuasive Writing.
- This is a class to help you prepare for SAT and to manage your GPA.

09:00 – 11:00 | SAT Master Words, Textual Evidence Reading, Latin & Greek Roots and Affixes |
11:10 – 13:10 | Assigned Tasks, Actual/Practice Tests, and Explanations, Mock Test Math Review |

16:00 – 18:10 | Evidence-Based Writing and Language, Essay Writing |
18:10 – 22:00 | Study Hall, SAT II, AP, and IB courses (subject classes are subject to additional tuition) |
Class features
- This course is designed to improve overall academic skills and thinking skills in order to succeed in school.
- Based on what you learned during the class, you should stay after the class, write the writing of the day, and submit it.
- Students’ vocabulary range will be extended every week.
*Students who fail to pass the vocabulary test will have to stay and take a Re-Test. - Class sizes are typically 8-15 students.
- This class contains characteristics of Pre-SAT and strategically prepared to maximize the academic activities in the school.
