Overview

Our Academic Reading and Writing courses are a course that foreign students and international school students must attend every vacation.  It is an essential course for international students as well as domestic students, and it is a program conducted by SSLI’s very best instructors.

  • It is a program that allows students to maximize their analytical skills in reading, analyzing and writing essay skills.
  • Short Story Reading and Article Reading, along with Critical Writing and Persuasive Writing.
  • This is a class to help you prepare for SAT and to manage your GPA.

This course will provide an overview of the fundamentals of academic writing including:

Summarization
Analysis
Argumentation
Description
Exposition
Research
Narration

Class features

  1. This course is designed to improve overall academic skills and thinking skills in order to succeed in school.
  2. Based on what you learned during the class, you should stay after the class, write the writing of the day, and submit it.
  3. Students’ vocabulary range will be extended every week.
    *Students who fail to pass the vocabulary test will have to stay and take a Re-Test.
  4. Class sizes are typically 8-15 students.
  5. This class contains characteristics of Pre-SAT and strategically prepared to maximize the academic activities in the school.

Total 14 lessons in 14 weeks KRW 903,840 + Book printing costs and textbook fees vary by class

  • You can avoid paying for classes that are scheduled to be absent
  • Only one class registration is not allowed
  • 2019 Spring semester ARW class time was extended by 1 hour from 1:00 pm class schedule deadline but we did not change the tuition fee but we will inform you that we will raise tuition fee for next fall semester.
